Billing Terms and Conditions

This page explains how payment works when you shop at Hayes Goods.
Payment methods
We accept:

All prices are in US dollars (USD), and every charge is made in US dollars.
When you are charged
Payment is taken in full when you place your order. We only prepare and ship orders once payment has been successfully authorized. If your payment is declined, the order is not confirmed; you can try again with another payment method or contact your card issuer.
What the total includes
Before you pay, checkout shows the full amount: the product price, any applicable taxes and the shipping cost, which is free on all US orders. Prices may change over time, but the total shown at checkout when you place your order is the amount you pay.
Keeping your payment secure
Every payment is processed over an encrypted (SSL) connection by trusted payment providers, including Shopify Payments and PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
Refunds
Approved refunds go back to the payment method you used for the order, on the timelines set out in our Refund & Return Policy. Your bank or card issuer may need a few extra business days to show the credit.
Questions about a charge and chargebacks
If a charge looks wrong or something went wrong with your order, please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. We can usually fix it faster, and you keep all your rights to dispute a charge with your card issuer either way. If a chargeback is filed on an order we believe was delivered and paid correctly, we will provide the order and delivery records to the payment provider.
Fraud prevention
To protect our customers, we review orders for signs of fraud. We may hold an order and ask you to verify your identity or payment details, or cancel it if we cannot verify it. If we cancel an order for this reason, any amount charged is refunded in full to the original payment method.
Updates to these terms
We may update these billing terms from time to time. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
