Orders and shipping

How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on every order inside the United States, with no minimum.

How long does delivery take?
Orders take 1 to 2 business days to pack and 7 to 10 business days in transit, so 8 to 12 business days in all. Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST on a business day start the same day. The full detail is in the Shipping Policy.

How do I track my order?
A tracking link goes out by email the day the order ships. The same status shows on the Track Your Order page.

Do you ship outside the United States?
Not at the moment. We deliver to US addresses only.

Can I change or cancel an order?
Email info@hayesgoods.com with the order number as soon as possible. An order that has not started processing can be changed or cancelled. Once it has shipped, it follows the return process below.

Returns and refunds

What is the return policy?
Anything can come back within 30 days of delivery, unused, in its original condition and packaging. There is no restocking fee. The full terms are in the Refund Policy.

Who pays return shipping?
If the item arrived damaged, defective or wrong, Hayes Goods covers the return. For a change of mind, the customer pays the cost of shipping it back.

When is the refund issued?
Within 7 business days after the return arrives and is checked, to the original payment method. Banks can take a few extra days to show it.

What if the item arrives damaged?
Email a photo of the damage and the order number within 30 days of delivery. We send a replacement or a full refund, and the return costs nothing.

Can I exchange an item?
Yes, within the same 30 days and under the same conditions. Email the order number and the item wanted instead.

Products

Are the lights hardwired or plug-in?
Each product page says which, in the glance tiles under the price. Most ceiling and wall pieces are hardwired and connect to a standard box. A licensed electrician is the safe choice for any hardwired install.

Do the lights come with bulbs?
Fixtures with a built-in LED need no bulb. Fixtures that take a standard bulb say so on the product page, with the socket type and the maximum wattage. Bulbs are not included.

Can the outdoor lights stay out all year?
The outdoor fixtures are IP65 rated, which means they are sealed against rain and dust and the steel does not rust. They can stay out through the seasons.
